Judy Fasone is an RN, Certified Trager Practitioner and Solo Instructor, Board Certified Health and Wellness Nurse Coach and Advanced Holistic Nurse.
Weaving Trager Mentastics, Reflex Response and tablework, I empower my clients and students to use their internal and external awareness, integrating the body, mind and natural environment for self-healing and wellbeing. The coaching training I have accentuates the possibilities, and I use self-assessments and offer resources based on functional medicine to look in depth at cellular functioning such as sleep and nutrition. I am currently fascinated with the psychophysical aspect of the work, having experienced the contagion of release in my own body as a client allows unconscious memories and sensations to surface. The client and I use this information together to release holding patterns.
I spend as much time in nature as possible to refuel and soak in the beauty of my surroundings. Compassionate care and access for all is my intention, and although I do not specialize, I see many people who want to spend time outdoors. Occasionally a client will meet me at a metropark, where we "walk and talk" hitting the trails, using Mentastics and pauses, and park benches or fallen trees to allow the body to find a new trail comfortably on uneven ground.I live and work in Columbus Ohio, in the Ohio Valley, which was once home to the Shawnee, Delaware (Lenni Lenape) and Wyandotte tribes.
I love teaching, and I am willing to travel for small classes, to share what I have learned and learn more with you! I teach Introductory Online and in person classes; Mentastics Classes, online and in person up to 3 days; and two Electives: Building a Practice, Building a Community, and the Heart of Ethics. I am excited to work with organizers who want to bring me to a new area to help them build their community.

Laura Lynn Giubardo has been doing bodywork for over 40 years working on over 30,000 bodies. She continues to take classes and learn. In 2023, she became a Certified Trager® Instructor.
As a Massage Therapist, body worker, yoga student, mother of seven, and a spiritual seeker from the church of Kindness, her journey in bodywork began as a 19 year old on the big Island of Hawaii. She studied Lomi Lomi, shiatsu, sport massage, prenatal massage, and Swedish massage, among others. Her Level 1 Trager® training facilitated a transcendent experience as her diaphragm released; it enabled her to take a breath so deep that her life was transformed and has been growing and transforming ever since. She continues to apply the principles of Trager® in her life, and the lives of her family, friends and clients. She has seen other’s lives transformed by The Trager® Approach. She believes in the principles that Milton Trager taught to the core of her heart, and it is beyond her understanding why these principles are not taught in every school in the world. The body is a vessel that carries the soul; moving the body can help a person realize the potential of their existence. She remains forever grateful to Milton Trager for the gift he has offered, allowing her to heal, and assist others in their healing.

Born 1959 and grown up in Munich/ Bavaria, I spent my schooling time there, until studies of anthropology and indology brought me to yoga and india. I strongly realized, that I have to do something with my hands and learned physical therapy in the medical field of massage in Munich. In this school in 1988, Siegrit Salkowitz " touched" me in a demo for the massage students and the Trager wave really reached me- and ever since never stopped.
I took the first Level 1 in Germany and started to assist all the trainings possible. Therefore I had the chance over the early years to get to know, all the first lineage of instructors, including Betty Fuller and Milton. Becoming practitioner 91, co-founding the German association, tutor in 95 and instructor for all levels and anatomy in 2000, allowed me to grow close together with the international and national community. Since 2015 I live in Erlangen and work together with my partner Ulrike in our med. practice and teach trainings,
That way, I have the joyful opportunity, to pass on to students and clients, what my teachers handed over to me and what I developed further from their gifts.

--
I first met Trager in 2007. My Aikido teacher asked me "Do you know anything about Trager?". I didn't know Trager, but my curiosity was aroused. As I researched The Trager Approach, it quickly became part of my life, just as Aikido did in 1993. With Aikido I learned to perceive myself better in space and in relationship with others. Trager continues to teach me to perceive myself with much more awareness. Both arts changed my life and for me it is clear that they enrich each other. One example of this is dealing with resistance. When we encounter resistance in tissue or structure in the Trager Approach, our answer is "less is more", which means we listen more, do less, become more inquiring and curious. If, in Aikido, an attack energy comes towards us with the goal to take us out of our center, we practice accepting this energy without being victims of it. In other words, both arts speak affirmatively about life.
Meanwhile I have learned to trust the art itself and to take myself personally more and more out of the way. So it felt natural and good to become a tutor and instructor. As much as I love to learn from each client, I love to learn from my Tutees and the classes I teach. I enjoy sharing this transforming and life-affirming process.
Together with my wife, Julia, I operate Dojo Aikido Unlimited and our Trager practice. I am also part of the Trager School Switzerland and am working along with others as we develop the new training program here in Switzerland.Back to Trager® faculty profiles.
